Shirley Pearsall Jones was born in Freeport, New York and had her High School Education there graduating in June '35. She attended Hofstra College—getting 3.A. Degree in June 1940. From December 1943 to December 1947 she was with the American Red Cross Field Service overseas. She had three years of teaching experience on Long Island, New York before entering our school, Sept. I960 as Commercial Teacher. For her fine co-operation as Sophomore home rooir teacher in chaperoning extra- curricular activities and helpin' our class with their secretarial trainin', Te, the Class of '63 dedicate our year book The Tower to Shirley Pearsall Jones.
