sur- In 1968, Dare Hudson sat in his law office reading the New York Times. To his prise, he ran across an article concerning the Class of 1958 which he clipped and sent to Mrs. Kastman. The letter was delivered by Keith Erickson in his Jet mail service to Mrs. Eastman now living in Florida enjoying her long-deserved retirement. From the clipping, she discovered that Floyd Kelsey was Master of Ceremonies of a TV quia program, on which Jerry Thomas and Maryhelen Whitley had won a world cruise. The boat on which they traveled was designed and owned by Tom Fayette, now a famous designer and builder. Upon boarding the boat, they were greeted by Captain Bob Young. The maid, Marjorie Zehr, showed them to their stateroom. Later, they were introduced to the Social Direc- tress, Janet Merrick, who assured them of a wonderful trip. While on deck, they ran into many old friends. Dana Redway, now a famous movie star, was traveling between pictures. Pat Gorton, the ship's stenographer, was as usual, on the Job. Velma Cornell was found on her way to France where she is to be Secretary to our foreign minister there. Every ship needs a doctor, and there was Frank Bickford diagnosing sunburns, while Charlotte Reggie, a nurse, was handing out seasick pills. When they complimented the steward on the delicious lunch, they discovered that it was planned and prepared by Roberta Soderholm, now a famous cateress. Crew members in- cluded Keith Hunter, Jim Dodge, and Ray Moon. Furnishing entertainment was the well-known singing team, Nancy Sprague and Pat Hinson. When annoyed by a dark, heavy-set man, they recognized Jim Matthews, now an F. B. I. agent, doing his spying legally. While inquiring about other classmates, the travelers learned that the Pickett Brothers, Bob and Ron, own and operate a dude ranch in California. Claude Rivett is known as an oil millionaire in Texas, and Bud Clark is making his fame as a big game hunter in Africa. On a stop in Hawaii, they found Betty 0111 and Bev Lewis, famous dancers, in a night club. Dick Mullin was found learning drum beats from the natives there for arrangements for his famous band. Two former classmates in his band are: Michael Flitcroft, piano player; and Jim Fulkerson, drummer. As Mr8. Eastman finished reading the article, she was very pleased at the success of each member of the Class of 1958 on attaining his proposed goal in life. 12
