Semors when we started our freshman year, we had 15 class members with Mrs Chapman as our class advisor During the year, we lost Ronald Kellar, Beverly Bercume and Elaine Erickson In January, Ralph Whitley caught up with us from eighth grade,and we acquired two more members from other schools, Morris Golden and Joseph Nilan Mrs Bassette welcomed 18 sophomores Among them were three new members Brenda Poor, Dorothy Lewis and David Brown During the year we lost Allen Bradbury and gained Kenneth Zehr We entered Mr Green's room as 18 juniors having gained David Krupcale and Keith Fuller and losing Joseph Nilan, Kenneth Zehr and Lucy Plato During the year Charles Barkley came and left again and we lost Marguerite Hall The first big event of the year was the arriw al of our class rings We made plans for our Junior Prom which was May 11 and had a theme of Blue Moon . Fifteen seniors entered Mrs astman's room having lost Alice Rogers We gained one member in January, Richard Hudson and lost one in February, Douglas Fulkerson We presented our Senior Play, nGood Gracious, Grandman in Navember under the direction of Mrs Eastman. This netted us an all time high of 3SLl.S1.2O. This money plus money earn ed from M dances, selling refreshments at games, dues and paper drives will finance our senior trip in June to which we are looking forward. Scmor Pla On November 16 and 17, the senior class presented the three act comedy, Good Graclous, Grandma , under the direction of Mrs Eastman This play was set in the living room of apartment No 5, Lennox Apart ments Henry and George Breckenridge are cousins who hate to work They find themselves in a state of financial embarrassment when Mrs Lennox, their landlady,demands a deposit on their overdue rent Avail able money arrives by wire when an old family friend telegraphs ex pense money for Henry's father to entertain the friend's two daughters over a weekend They need the money but Henry's father is in Mexico and they don't have a chaperone The obstacle is overcome when P Sam the colored house boy, flnds a gray wig and a black dress on the ground outside the apartment house The fun begins when George becomes Grand ma and Henry has to outwit Mrs Lennox The play had its share of romance and hilarious scenes The cast consistedof Ronald Reggie, Garolyn Brown, Max Bovee, Uavid Krupcale, Harry Dowker, Davld Hedger, Brenda Poor, Keith Fuller, Patricia Mason and Dorothy Lewis. The stage crew was comoosed of Keith Fuller and Morris Golden The play netted the class the all time high of 351451 20. 4? ' 2 11
