Barnard, our teacher of industrial arts. Last year, Kr. Barnard arranged for and planned the photogra ;ny work on the annual with Mr. John Severance; however, this year, he is doing the photography work himself. Mr. Barnard Graduated from Mexico Acadu and Central School in I9I4I und Oswego State Teachers' College in 19ij.8. His college work v as interrupted by three years of ar.iy service, eirhteen months of which v:erc overseas. In September 19l;9, he began teaching industrial arts at Belleville. He is now working on his master's degree during summers at Oswego. Last summer, he v;as initiated Into Epsilon ?i Tau Natio al Industrial Arts Honor Society as a graduate student. The class of 1952 realize the exceptional ability of Mr. Barnard, admire his pleasing personality and wish to express their appreciation of his work y dedicating this annual to him. Look Ahead Thirty-one members comprised our Seventh Grade Homeroom with Mr. Kenneth Campbell as our first Junior high school teacher. All through the grades, we had been looking ahead to the day v hen we would go upstairs and have classes with the high school. This was i12 We had passed one mile stone, and all were ready to look ahead to the next, only five years away I Now, we are Seniors - Seventeen - just looking ahead I 6 Senior Officers Bett’ J. Young '’Bet The class of 52 began their high school days in 1949, in the laboratory with Mrs. Chap- man, as their advisor. There were twenty-one members at that time. The following year. Miss Flint welcomed the same number of noisy sophomores to the tenth grade. The next year, the fifteen Jolly Juniors climbed up and down the stairs, to the barn with Mr. Bellinger, as advisor. The high points of this year were the senior rings and the Junior prom. Mrs. Eastman greeted seventeen happy seniors to her room. Earning money for a Senior Trip presented a problem to each and every one. Dances, the senior play. The Great Ben Allah, and selling refreshments at basketball and football games have helped to solve this problem. Joanne A. However, our Junior dance. May I4., 1951 was our first attempt at earning money toward our Senior trip. The Glen Fults orchestra furnished the dance music for this occasion. Our dance proved a success under the supervision of our advisor, Mr. Howard Mumford. A profit of $55.00 was realized. The highlight of the evening was the crowning of the King, Terry Kohl ,and Queen, Rosamond 1bdon. The Queen's attendents were Mary Lynn Jaiues and Kay Saunders; tfhile, Charles Van Brocklin and Claude Poor attended the King. This year, we have realized this aim even more. Our money projects consist of the selling of refreshments at football and basketball games, the Senior play and dances. 16 Juniors Merrick, Hyde, Hughes, Hutchinson, Herron, Tice Elmer, Boyd, Littlefield, Trevett, Endsley, O’Connell, Cook, James, Fulkerson Mr. Bellinger, Whitley, Heed, Bovee, Hudson, Pelton, Wheadon, Rogers Sophomore Rftfld Mullln.
