The General Science Club, composed of students who have taken or are taking General Science. tries to give its members a better background of science for use in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, and at the same time strives to aid the members in scientific thinking. The first part of this year their study was centered around astronomy. Individual reports were made on stars, star patterns, telescopes, and telescopic cameras. After each report, the topic was then thrown open for discussion by each member. Some energetic persons made drawings of the star patterns for further study. At mid-year their study switched to the inventions since 1890. Mr. Marmon is their sponsorg Marie Elena Vicario, their presidentg Dave Johnson, their vice presidentg and Judy Sacksteder, their secretary.
