The number one memory gem for the juniors and seniors of 1939 took place May 12, Friday night, at the junior, senior prom. Guys and gals tripped the light fantastic over the floor of the impro- vised Dude Ranch, and under the large horseshoe hanging from the ceiling which read- Good Luck Seniors and Smooth Riding. The gym, with Indian blankets, saddles, and hitchjng posts, took on an atmosphere of real western style. One of the biggest attractions was the wishing well. The grand march was led by junior class president, Gene Bailey, and Miss Marllynn Medaris. May 17, 1940 the junior class entertained the seniors at a Prom which had the background of a snow carnival. Norell Highland and Jane Simpson led the grand march to the music furnished by Bud Boykin's orchestra.
