Second semester - seniors have seventeen weeks yet. Game at Wapak. Score? Don't mention it, please! Birthday greetings to F. D. R. FEBRUARY Bluffton loses - B. H. S. Wallop St. Marys, 47-15. again happy. G. R.'s go to Piqua for annual conference. B. H. S. behind eight ball at Lima South. And such beautiful black eyes. Coach becomes school hero. 'Seven Sistersn brings honors to seniors. Season ends victoriously. MARCH Dayton tournaments begin, by beating Greenville, 55 Chieftains move into semi Back to Dayton. Looks as We did it again! Yessir, Upper Arlington loses, 55-26. and B. H. S. continues last year's record 18. finals by victory over Franklin. if Chieftains will be District Champs again we won, by gum! Another beautiful trophy. Beat Dayton Fairmont, 21-15. We're just good, that's all. On to Columbus! Oh, well, we beat them last year, anyway. Massillon must be pretty good to beat us. 19-20-21 Hi-Y and G. R. hold Easter services. Good Friday. Easter vacation. All dressed up and it feels like winter. Such is Easter. Alden Dunham takes honors APRIL as seniors take scholarship tests. Hi-Y banquet at Logan. Much food consumed. Seniors have seven page history exam. Seniors suffer relapse. Who wouldn't! Juniors show promise of swell Prom from gains of Junior Stag Stompg an orchestra, too. 21 Spring Vacation - Rain, rain, and more rain. But, oh, that bles- sed sleep! Resolved that all vacations should be longer. nThe Bells of Capistranou MAY It won't be long now. ring out in auditorium. G. R. banquet. Such appetites! Winter in May at Junior-Senior Prom - SWELL! Senior Assembly--sniffle-sniffle. Last day of school for seniors. Memorial Day - no school. Seniors present pageant. JUNE Mr. Henry breathes sigh of relief. Baccalaureate - for once seniors are dignified. Commencement - nThough we may go, tenderest mem'r1es I know Will cling 'round Bellefontaine H1gh.n

I9 School Calendar SEPTEMBER Three months of freedom behindg nine months of work before us. And seven o'clock seems terribly early. It's all routine by now. G. A. A. holds retreat at lake, nLittle girl you had a busy day.n Girl Reserve's annual picnic, plus the annual mosquitoes. But, oh! that food! Football season opens with a bang--we beat Urbana 25-15. Seniors find out they're really seniors. Suffer first history test. Sidney bows to Chieftains, 7-O. . Rain helps lower Kenton's spirits. We win, lO-7. OCTOBER Wapak easily conquered. Result, 25-6. ' High school day at 0. S. U. and State gets beat. At last we beat Van Wert in football! And on their field! 24-O. Such sad faces! Celina has the nerve to win, 7-O. Back on our feet again. St. Marys hit the dust, 16-12, plus a free for all as a finale. First vacation, but not for the teachers. They go to Dayton. NOVEMBER Bluffton laid low, 53-O. Armistice game with Marysville. G. R. again steals the show with nKorky Kidsn. Thanksgiving vacation. Oh! my stomach! School again. Everyone two pounds heavier. DECEMBER Basketball season begins with victory over Marysville. Dayton Co-op goes home with a headache. Juniors win aclaim with 'You Can't Take It With You.n Sidney--so, so sad. B. H. S.--so, so glad. Score: 41-20. Home game with Kenton. Boy! What a thriller! But Chieftains pull through the victor as usual. Chieftains win Marysville dedication game. Vacation at long last! Freshmen start dreaming of Santa Claus. Happy New Year!! I resolve ------- JANUARY Oh! my head! Wonder what a bed feels like. Back to the old grind. Journey to Celina to win 30-22. Regain trophy from Van Wert! Score: 52-28. Mr. Albert, the ncathedral mann talks in assembly. Temperature reaches Oo. Br-r-r! ' Poor Urbana. A
