They were led by the cheerleaders who provided many Worthwhile hours of cheering. This organization held its own by sponsoring the football homecoming dance. They were kept busy making posters, decorating goalposts, and bleachers. Members also sold Mums for the football homecoming activities. It had two big activities. One was a Spanish party where Spanish food was served and Spanish records were played. The second was a trip to the restaurant El Charro in Wichita. The group was addressed by two guest speakers, Mr. and Mrs. Carlos Rod- riguez. The Spanish Club this year was very entertaining. SCIENCE CL UB The Science Club has been active this year. It has been on two fields trips. The first was to the Kansas State Sci- ence Fair at Manhattan. There the group enjoyed many exhibits. The second trip was to the Lear jet Corpo- ration in Wichita. At Lear's, they saw how the planes are made and put to- gether. It was a very enjoyable year for the members of the Science Club.
