GAEDDERT Principal ADMINISTRA TION It is not doing what one pleases that makes a man free, it is doing what one chooses, and freedom of choice depends upon knowledge and wisdom. The wiser and more knowing a man is the wider his choices, the more intelligent his choices, and the freer his choices. The school is chiefly concerned with basic knowledge and skills in all of the fundamental areas of knowledge. At the head of the school is an energetic man by the name of I-I. E. Gaeddert. The many aspects of his position are too numerous to count, but it is because of his enthusiasm for learning that Belle Plaine Rural High School is constantly progressing. I-I. E. Gaeddert has gained the respect of a number of people in the field of education. BOARD Mr Wilbur Barngrover, Mr. Don Holbrook, Mr. Floyd Bledsoe, Mr. Wayne Fuller, Mr. Harold Craven. These are the men responsible for the formulation of policy, pre- sentation of budgets, and the selection of personnel for the school. Their work this past year as before, has been one of steady pro- gress toward improvement of education in Belle Plaine. O ROBERT AMES NADINE BOYLE KAY BRUNER CASEY CARLTON FA C UL TT The students of Belle Plaine High School take pride in the knowledge that others have gone before, and loved their school with the same devotion. There is a sense of fellow- ship, a warm and pleasant atmosphere in the student body, Where friendships grow and live, and are never forgotten. Constant ideas and encouragement from the faculty help whenever it is needed. There is a sense of cooperation, the satisfaction of performing Well, of working together for the success of an event and mutual pride in a job well done. Ideas are exchanged, fellowships enjoyed, lives are shaped.
