Although the event took place on May 1, many hours were spent previous to that date in planning decorations, and then in carrying out the plans. [The banquet, which consisted of a meal of turkey with all the trimmings, featured Mr. Albrecht as the guest speaker. Mr. Albrecht, who is retiring this year, delivered an Interesting talk that brought the students, faculty, and guests chronologically through the years of his teaching career at BPHS. The beginning of a grand march revealed the gym to the honored seniors for the first time. To the strains of Anchors Aweigh couples marched sedately through the flower bedecked Garden of Love. Later, many stopped to admire the bubbling fountain. As the enchanted eve drew to a close all were ready to admit that the 1965 Prom had been a success.
