Under the close super- vision of Olson. MMC, these are the men who pull the throttles which run the skinners and make ,the screws turn. They are about the last 'cup and downern Machinist Mates in the Navy. In addition to Hpulling the throttle,', these men also watch the steam pressure and take tank soundings.
