Student Council . The Belle Fourche High School Student Council is organized for the purpose of giving the students a voice in the student government. This year the Council met weekly instead of the former once a month. It has directed and sponsored several activities, some of which are the Annual Bronc Day, the Mississippians, Brown and Meneley, and a Christmas party and dance. Shirley Hales, the secretary-treasurer, mov- ed away and Genevieve Edsall was elected by the student body to take her place. Helen Wennherg was the 4l'i State Style Queen of South Dakota and represented our State at the 4H Congress held in Chicago last tall. Ushers: Betty Overholt, Lillian Lanning, Maxine Haber, Helen lane Decker, Laura Carlson and Dawn Anderson. Cheer Leaders: Ruby Wheeler, Cecile Pattalccni, and Dorothy Lehto.
