Our teacher for this year, when we were endowed with Donna Lowery, Peggy Miller, and B111 Ricketts, was Mrs. Park. A Having led us as far as she could, Mrs. Park turned us over to our second grade instructor, Mrs. Kotterman. This year was much noted for its one enormous soclalevent, the mock wedding of Miss Rose Marie Brown to Mr. Norman Johnson. of course, the marriage was declared illegal by Mrs. Kotterman, and we remained in our seats for the remainder of the day. Judy Byrd joined us at this point of the Journey. The following year we climbed the stairs to Miss Cl1ne's third grade room. Nothing unusual happened that year except for the arrival of our Wquiet Man', Duane Risner. Mrs. Pessell inherited us for our fourth year of schooling but left Belle Center School after the year was ended. One can't blame her! During this year Royce Bell arrived from the west as a one-fourth Indian, no less. In our fifth grade year, we initiated Mrs. Bloom in her return to teaching. Fred Phillips came to us that year. N0 COMMENT. The next year we were enchanted by ably tells. It was in this class that we made our first real step tuward our Senior trip. We sold popcorn at the football and basketball games. Remember the tantalizing odor of burnt popcorn that evolved throughout the building. Lauretta Guthrie came to us from Bellefontalne during our Sophomore year. While W9 WSTB Juniors. we did many things to swell our treasury. we sold candy, pop, sandwiches, snd coffee at the ballgames. we presented a play, No Boys Allowed , in the fall, while the following Spring was de- voted to preparation for the Junior-Senior Banquet, which was a huge success. It has been cited by many as the finest in many, many years. In this year, 1954, we reach the end of our long Journey through our beloved school. We have had many projects this year of which this book which you now read is one. We are planning our play for April and our Commencement for May. we shall miss Belle Center High deeply. we hope BCHS will miss us. 1ba1?N CHU Hwhat is a oo 5 L 9 N EQ O S- S E O U I'-1 on 'U 5 0 1-1 Q 0 N 'H ki 5-0 H I I O C Mun I +50 C CJ u U E U KD 0 H S on E 0 u 5 3 n 4-3 0 s 5 P: 0 -P U 5 O bi T - - - KNUW OU Y DO ?ll an 35 he 'UO gs O K: -D qg.. .CPU fs lr-I no go -PM G1-H 9-'S Probable Fate Noted For Likes Usually Seen NEMO rcus berker ci S40 'H owl r45n Es' o 0 g Q0 Liam women friends OM 1 loaf eep IDU! 03'-1 r-lv-lo UIQ'-I he-I 0.515 4-59402 to mba UI VI-P ID 0 U11 O E0 Z 0 EC 43 0 0 W VI dancing h iD V1 F4 0 chasing girls O 9-4 0 wr-I gf4 E3 WB 3 1-'4 r-C 'H hai 2 C 0-1 3 Q-I .54 r-4-P dw-0 4-1.-C1 Bullock 3-1 0 C10 P4 E OI!-10 0 -4 Pvom Ov-i0 DICOM G EE -DO 55 in 'Na XJ-f C2 O sz hm omo 'rl Chr-4 GUI-4 0236!
