l FRQSH Rebboah on the way to 104 points Koveleski passes from pocket This team is a team of great hitters. The words of first year coach Don Ardissone catch the spirit of the '73 Baby Bells. Though the Bells were smaller than every team they met, they established a four and two record. The Baby Bells scored 140 points while giving up only 32. Perhaps the greatest testimony to this team was their powerful 34 to 12 victory over an excellent St. Ignatius team. The Baby Bells physically over-powered the Cats. Nlarc Rebboah turned in a fantastic mark of 1.017 yards rushing in only five games. Marc was named M.V.P. Tom Page, a linebacker, was named Most lnspirational Player. Mike Kerrigan was voted lineman of the year for his excellent offensive and defensive play. Leo Ruth and Don Ardissone provided excellent coaching and guidance for the team. Page attempts extra point. The Bellarmine Junior Varsity finished the '73 season with an overall record of 6-3. The Bells charged into the season confidently winning their first five games then falling to Mitty, Serra, and Riordon respectively. Although the record is an achievement in itself, there was a positive atmosphere among the players that is the envy of many teams. This atmosphere is considered the ultimate goal in athletics. Congratulations go to the defense which allowed an average of less than eight points per game. The offense scored an average of three touchdowns per game. Mike Bennedetti received the M.V.P. award for his brilliant play. Running back Dean lntersimone was voted most inspirational player. Most improved player honors went to Tom Bordenave. Of course, coaches Larry Lauro and Br. Ryan were at the heart of this inspired team, R. Barney Van Alstyne LemMon runs the option. f A Rosa over Jefferies Rosa Bell Defense I I Y . 1- l

Players with differing capabilities are evenly matched on the teams. Darius Pirzadeh and Jon Everett have organized this group under the direction of Mr. Phelan. The Bowling Club plans to compete against other schools and, although the competition is tough, the bowlers enjoy themselves.
