GIRL MEETS GIRL Many lifelong friendships formed in good old B. H. S. were developed through Girl Reserves. This social and religious organization, a branch of the YWCA, is the largest club in high school. Meeting in a body every two weeks, girls of all classes mingle and enter into the fun of dances, parties, hikes and teas, however, valuable instruction and sage advice are offered to the members. Girl Reserves learn how to live Christian lives and how to develop the best in each and every one. The theme of the Girl Reserves this year was A Girl Reserve Views the American Way . These patriotic programs served to impress on the students the worth and advantages of the democratic way of life. BOY A MEETS BOY The Hi-Y enjoyed one of the most successful years in its history, using as their slogan Being a Better Citizen . For the recreation the club made use of the gymnasium, had their own basketball team, and really had a good time making use of the ties with the YMCA in Wlmeeling. This year the club donated money to the shoe fund and bought the Public Address System for the auditorium. Many of the friendships made in Hi-Y are solid as the Rock of Gibralter. - LS

If you want aid in selecting a new suit or your spring costume, just go around to our Salesmanship club members who will be able to give you some expert advice. L'- Sniff, Sllfff-elllllllllllf Look them over girls, they're definitely husband material. These boys made their own aprons and have turned out some very nice dinners, too. Can you al-ways bear found? N of Wliy does light travel so rapidly? just ask one of the Gensi Club members and you shall find out. They discuss all scientific problems which are not very well under- stood by the majority. 1492, 1776 . . . ofa, my! These sons and daughters of Herodotus battle with words as they discuss ancient and Current events. llyalcla the birdie ! D The purpose of this club is to help any interested person to become more proficient and to enable him to derive more pleasure from his camera hobby.
