MISS ANNA DARBY . 3 5 3. f DEDICATION The class of 5111 is happy to dedicate its annual to Miss Anna E. Darby. As a teacher of American Literature, Miss Darby not only keeps abreast of modern fiction, but also arouses a similar enthusiasm in her students. She takes a great deal of interest in seniors and their activities and has proved this time and time again by assuming the thankless responsibility of producing the senior class play. The senior class play is only one of the dramatic productions which Miss Darby has so ably directed. Her contributions to the chapel programs are welcomed by everyone. It is with deep respect and sincere apprecia- - tion that we offer her our Close Ups or Bellaire High.

DI. V. NELSON, Sfzperilzlezzdezzt Each year the Administrative Depart- ment has the thankless task of making the students of Bellaire High toe the line. Each year we rise to new heights of ingenuity in efforts to avoid toeing said line. Round and round the circle goes but we are bound to come out second best. Vfithall, we have a profound respect for Mr. Nelson, Mr. Reinbolt, and Miss Price for we realize that each year they are doing a finer job for our school. Left to our own devices most of us would develop into just ordinary citizens, but profiting by the experience and the example of those set to guide us, the average graduate of Bellaire High stands fair to realize his dream of being a good citizen in this topsy-turvy world.
