HOMECOMING ASSEMBLY Full of surprises and memorable moments. Those are just few of the words that could describe this years 1981- 82 Homecoming day assembly held at Reeves Field, The big surprise this year was not just having a Senior court, but also having Junior, Sophomore, and Freshman attendants. Along with all the attendants we hod with us a Foreign exchange student- an honorary member of the 1981-82 Homecoming Court. The day time assembly consisted of the introduction of the Homecoming Court and Attendants. A very exciting performance by the Flags, Tall Flags, Cheerleaders, and the Band got everyone into the spirit of things. Minutes after the performance and the class spirit com- petition, the names of Sara Roche and Mario Lozano sounded off through the speaker as the new King and the new Queen of 1981-82. I 1. The Senior Court caught off guard 2 Bell High ' s Foreign exchange student and her escort 3, Boy Mike, that hat suits you just fine, 27

HOMECOMING GAME 1981 The Homecoming game was also a big achievement. Before the game, the court and attendants made their appearance by driving out and around the field for ev- eryone to see. They stopped at the far side of the field, where they got off the car and walked through the field where the Flag team had formed a line for them. Former King and Queen, Ricky Daily and Linda Vela, were also at the game to crown the new reigning King Mario Lozono and Queen Sara Roche. The whole night was fun and exciting, but ended a bit sorrowful One reason for this was that nobody wanted this night to end Another because we unfortunately lost the game against Crenshaw High. All in all, it was an unforgettable night. 1 Sara and Mario waving HI to all their fans 2 Sorry, fresti out of roses, 3 We ' re 11 4 The new queen Sara at the final coronation 5 Gimme back my crownl 6 Excuse me, your slip is showing 7 This IS the life. 28
