SUMMERTIME SWING Summertime is a time to kick-back, and relax. In thie past years ttie doors of Bell High have been shut tight, but many changes come along with year round school One of the biggest problems for the students was getting up so early. The nice port about it, or you can say the reward for the students was having the first dance of the year during summer. Leadership re-opened the doors of the gym and spon- sored the Summertime Swing on Friday, July Twenty four. That was a suitable theme, for the dress code was any- thing you can swing in! There was a large turnout of students, including those who were off-track participat- ing at the dance. Refreshments were provided to quinch the thirsty danc- ers throats. The gym was nicely decorated with palm trees and summer scenery to set the mood of the dance. To make all of the dancers to feel as if they were in a prardise island on a cool summer night. Pictures were taken at the dance with different price ranges to suit all students The background was a bright sunrise on a blue sky. Everyone boogied to the sounds of Disco Mania, which filled the expectations of everyone to make it an enjoy- able evening. 1 At the Summertime Swing, everyone did their thing 2 Remember Kim, in order to dance you ' ve got to move. 3. Disco Mania provided the entertainment tor the night 4 Oh no, vje ' ve been CLONED 5 While Patsy Gonzalez tries to boogie to the beat. Manny Garcia struts his stuff 6 Look there is Tern Gordea, oops she forgot to put her teeth in before posing for this picture 7, Eric has thoughts about going out and dancing.
