The winter '59 graduating class of Bell consisted of 38 boys and 27 girls. Although it was one of the smallest graduating classes, it was one of the mightiest. Though the semester the 65 students enioyed many activities re- served only for seniors. Among them were their Sen- ior Breakfast, where they re- ceived their coral sweaters, the Senior Prom, the Senior Picnic and several sportsnites. Most of the big events took place in their Sr. A semester. Selected as Ephebians from the winter '59 graduating class were Sue Holbrook and Steve Turnwall. Sue had an outstanding record in leadership and was Student Body Secretory. She also served as feature editor, associate editor and news bureau chief on the Chimes Staff. Steve was excellent in leadership too, as he held the offices of STU- DENT BODY PRESIDENT, and Boys' Forum Vice-President. He was also Chimes Editor and lettered in Basket- ball. Leading the winter '59 graduating class for their Sr. A semes- ter were President, Bill Dickey, Vice - presi- dent, Mike Lee, Secre- tary, Nana Brock, and Treasurer, Bill Wag- goner. l Winter '59 graduates who received the Sealbearers award for outstanding schol- astic records were Vicki Gi- ambrone, Sue Holbrook, Joan Enders, Steve Turnwall, and Tom Myers. These five stu- dents have been in scholar- ship four semesters including one in their Senior year.
