After working furiously to meet deadlines o time the staff and I feel quite close to the end. After numerous handsprings across town, wearing out tire and shoe leather, burning up octane iust for a few pictures and ads, we are thoroughly exhausted. The nervous phone calls, hysterically searching through the cupboard for lost pictures, going through the trash can for copy that was thrown away by mistake, and counting many, many ballots for the queen con- tests, has left the staff absolutely wacky. Now that the book is going to meet our final deadline we can overlook the hard work and think only of the many enjoy- able experiences and the fun we have had working on the Charger. lf you, the student, have ay complaints about the annual, ioin the staff, and you will understand the difficult task it is to try to please everyone. I would like to thank the many people who have helped in the production of the Charger. Fran-for all the hard work put into the designing of the annual first semester. Jan-for the good iob of keeping the budget in order and the gas tank of her little blue Ford full for all the running around we had to do. Connie-for the thankless iob of setting up picture appoint- ments and all the odd iobs that had to be done. Pres lMr. Terrificl-for the fabulous art work that made l Nw f at Q0 i F-' fx - l X G Q our annual the best ever.. 5 Dave-for helping with the art work and running errands between rooms 5, 15, 25. Ronnie lPetel-for the excellent iob done on the Sports section. ' Chet-for helping with the Sports and the rest of the m'any, many small jobs that had to be done. Mr. Brady-for being more than an advisor, for the pa- ! X tience, good advice, encouragement and understanding. ,vs -f' Mr. Swanson and his photographers-for the fine iob done ' with the photography work. Mr. Sinay-for the Faculty, Junior, Senior, and club pictures and cooperating so wonderfully when we called at the last min- ute for pictures. The staff of Yearbooks, Incorporated-for every effort to . help us in the planning of our book and for being so under- 3 standing around deadline time. S. K. Smith Company-for the superb iob done on our cover. I 9. l 3 Z. l also want to thank the student body of Bell Gardens Senior 9 High for helping the annual sta to prove that People Are U 2 Funny. x N Edit '5 A .VW c ZQS 3' ' X - , - - 43 9 S' if- '7 v fx 1 .-ff 5' i X 5 l X A 1 ,D M .cur fl J F ZX R A 'QQ Q -'y ' X' P Q N G I if . 3s C f l x 'Q '- W - - f s 9 u J -' Q 6 fZ: f ? in J 5 -af-Am ss, 1-.c.,,.v5 - y ,i A uw IPIIITIIRQIIIISS AALERT T.V.
