The Student Council of this past year has proven itself to be very capable of solving every problem, both large and small. Each home-room at the beginning of the fall semester selected a home-room representative that would attend all meetings of the Student Council. Without the functioning of this group the successful year that we have iust witnessed would have been a complete failure, without this group the rest of the students would not know what work was being done for their benefit. ln Student Council every student had the opportunity to express their own opinion, and that of their home- room, and out of this came a very successful year. Stcwlenf gave To put down the accomplishments of our Student Government in black and white is impossible, for most of their work has been quiet and behind the scenes, the kind of work that but few people notice, but which is neces- sary to keep our school machinery running smoothly. All of their accomplishments haven't been quiet however, they did find time to sponsor Alumni Day, the Spring Carnival, and to work out, and install a Merit System into our school. After completing another year at Bell Gar- dens, we have found that once again we have chosen our leaders wisely. Zkmfgaalz. Our third year as a school has come to an end, and as we look over our labors, there is much to be proud of. Student cooperation was never better. Your Student Government has been very active and effective in its work. For the first time we have been able to hold assemblies under ideal conditions. Our stu- dents have been quick to take advantage of assemblies to improve our social activities and behavior. Of course, it would be foolish to say we have reached our goal, for all know we have much to strive for. The satisfying part of it is that we know our students will strive for the best that is in them. We are confident that satisfaction will be reached only when we have been able to see positive and con- structive results accomplished. lt is my wish that all of you can truthfully say, This has been one of my most enioyable and profitable years. Congratulations to our Senior Class, and may the future years be bright for all. Sincerely, A WLM. K 8 I Mr. Oliver, Principal Mr. Oliver, Mrs. Sommers, Secretary
