Stcwlenf gave To put down the accomplishments of our Student Government in black and white is impossible, for most of their work has been quiet and behind the scenes, the kind of work that but few people notice, but which is neces- sary to keep our school machinery running smoothly. All of their accomplishments haven't been quiet however, they did find time to sponsor Alumni Day, the Spring Carnival, and to work out, and install a Merit System into our school. After completing another year at Bell Gar- dens, we have found that once again we have chosen our leaders wisely. The Student Council of this past year has proven itself to be very capable of solving every problem, both large and small. Each home-room at the beginning of the fall semester selected a home-room representative that would attend all meetings of the Student Council. Without the functioning of this group the successful year that we have iust witnessed would have been a complete failure, without this group the rest of the students would not know what work was being done for their benefit. ln Student Council every student had the opportunity to express their own opinion, and that of their home- room, and out of this came a very successful year.
