Each year the boys are proud to wear their F. F. A. jackets, which any member may purchase. VICE PRESIDENT Frank Pavalovich The most important event of their year is the Farm Show in Harrisburg, which they attend for one week, under the supervision of Mr. Smith. Initiation for new members took place in September followed by a party in the Home Economics Room. The officers and their sponsor attended a regional meet- ing at Brothersvally High School in Berlin, Pennsylvania. Each year the Bell-Avon Chapter raises funds to pur- chase jackets for the members who are graduating and also to buy new equipment for the Home Economics Department. Fund raising projects this year were selling refreshments and sponsoring a dance after the Elders Ridge Basketball game, and baking and selling cookies on Fridays throughout the year. ..
