Into the completion of a yearbook goes many things . . . time, work, concern, talent, cooperation, teamwork. As editor I would like to acknowledge those that contributed to the 1967 White Columns. In producing a yearbook, a competent staff plays an important role. For their invalu- able time and effort, I wish to thank especially my six section editors, Sue Dodson, Kar- en Ingram, Beth Pitts, .lim Ostenson, John Rollo, and Larry Zachow. But a dependable staff is not sufficient. Without the supervision and able guidance of the Public Relations Office there could be no White Columns. For the use of their talents in the field of photography, I would like to thank Mr. Gibbons Smith of Pippen Studios, John Rollo, Betty Baxter, and Larry Bein, Belhaven students. I am also grateful to the Cathedral of St. Andrew for the use of the courtyard for beauty pictures and the Sheraton Inn for the use of the lobby for class favorite pictures. Appreciation is extended to Mrs. .lames Savage, Mrs. C. L. Connerly, ,lr., Mrs. Virginia Metz, Walter Davis, and Tom Maynor for their consent tojudge the traditional Miss White Columns contest, and to Mrs. T.C. Harmon and Miss Camille Beauchamp for being hostesses on that occasion. To those who have helped in any small way to the final product, I thank you for your contribution. I am also appreciative of the attitude and cooperation of the faculty and students of Belhaven for helping us to complete the issue. FY.
