CD . .honorary history Founded this year on the campus ofBel- haven College was Phi Alpha Theta, national honorary history fraternity. Those students tapped for membership were Lucy Castleman, jane Day, Dan Morse, Langston Haygood, Randall Yelverton, Beth Brannon, and Robert Hann. The faculty advisors, and members of the fraternity are Dr. julia Ivanoff and Prof. Lamar Neal. . .classical languages Eta Sigma Phi is a national honorary fraternity for students of Latin and Greek. The Delta Epsilon chapter was founded at Belhaven College on May 6, 1963, forming from a Classical Club, Phi Sigma, founded in February, 1961. Students maintaining a B average in the studies of these languages are eli- gible for membership. Meeting once a month, this organization promotes interest in the study of the classics. junior john Vance is the group's president. 125
