To the Class of 1980: Over the past several years, you have worked and stud- ied, practiced and played and grown. You have grown mentally as well as physically and now you are approach- ing the time when you begin your lives as members of the adult community. For some of you, this will mean a job and the responsi- bility of family living. For others, this will mean college and further years of study and preparation. Whatever course your future takes, it is my sincere hope that you will look back on your years here as having prepared you to meet and deal with the challenges that life will present. On behalf of the staff and Board of Education of the Belfast Central School, I wish each and every one of you the happiness of a productive life, the respect of your fellow human beings, and the love of your family. May the future be yours. Robert Bouldin Superintendent A D M I N I S T R A T I O N To the Class of 1986: I want you to know how proud we are of all of you upon your graduation from Belfast Central School. When I was young and foolish, I used to admire people who told me that they were a self-made man or a self- made woman. As you graduate, I challenge you to think of yourself not as a self-made person, but to think of your- self as a person that was molded and shaped by many different people. At this stage in your life, it is important for you to remember that no matter what occupation you choose, that, very soon, you will have the awesome re- sponsibility and joy to touch others and help to shape and mold them. As you leave Belfast Central School, be pre- pared to reach out to others, to touch them, and to mold them, with some of the knowledge and wisdom that you have gained, not only from your parents, friends and members of this community. But also from your teachers at Belfast Central. May God continue to bless you in all that you do with your lives. Dennis Doell Principal BOARD OF EDUCATION Row 1: B. Foley, P. Guilford, B. Back- er. Row 2: S. Whalen, D. Grastorf, D. Teplesky, R. Hull
