A piano to play school music so deft' From M. Fitzgerald for J. Labroad is left. Ann Young has willed a private telephone To Sandra Rhodes to end troubles at home. some shiny new scissors Esther Pierce will leave To Mrs. LeGrand--for those she'll never retrieve. Bob Morse gives a book on nwhat's Wrong with Womenn To Clif Dyer--we hope that it will help him. A book of excuses Don Dugre hands down To John Garvan so he may wander through town. For Barbara Squires from Blanchette Eaton remains Her ticket-selling job at basketball games. Nancy Booth gives her job as Blanchette's assistant To M. Russell--who'll be good cause she's persistent. Leland Miner offers to give Richard Knight An alarm clock so hefll get to school all right. To bequeath some sneakers is Billy King's aim To our principal for the next faculty game. Betsy Brown would like to give Mrs. Tague Two shiny ear plugs--they'll be a good aid. Donald Bock wants to bequeath his curly hair To M. Booth--now her locks won't cause any care. Elaine Bentley offers to Marilyn Bullough Some type paper to use when Mrs. LeGrand says,nNo.' A basket weaving set is left by Dave Hodgen For the girls' team--now winning won't be a problem. His truck to be used next year on paper drives From Clif McGinnis for Norm Forest survives. Conrad Kirby offers to Harold Norman His seat in Problems which he seldom stayed in. From Billy Hubbard for George Dupont has been left His crew Cut which it took so long to get. A car to transport all of the kids around Is given by Charles Bush to Frankie Towne. To Donny Camp is left a voice so clear From John Morrow--who's one we love to hear. To Mary and Patty Socha and Joyce Dupuis L. Rhodes, S. Cutting, and B. Mish leave willingly Some souvenirs from the Statue of Liberty washington Monument and Empire State Building. As Seniors, we elected the following class officers: President ------- Dave Hodgen Vice President--Leland Miner Secretary ------- Bob Lindquist Treasurer ---- ---Bill Hubbard Class Reporter--Madeline Fitzgerald Adviser --------- Mrs. LeGrand We got busy right away by having an initiation dance and a paper drive. our float, depicting the scene of Pocahontas and John Smith, won us third prize in the Fair Day parade. we soon elected a yearbook staff which included: Editor-in-Chief ------ Lois Rhodes Business Manager ----- Bob Morse Photography ---------- Don Bock Art Editor --------- --Nancy Booth Literary Editor ------ Ann Young Sports Editor -------- Bill Hubbard News Editor- ------ ---Bob Lindquist Type Editor -------- --Esther Pierce In October class pictures were taken by Brown Studio. Our next project was the Sadie Hawkins Dance which everyone supported. Bernice Mish headed the Christmas card drive in which all the Seniors worked very hard. For the Christmas party, the whole class took part in a pageant. Mrs. Tague's Problems of Democracy Class sponsored a mock election for the school to choose a Senior to represent B.H.S. at Boston on Student Government Day. In a close contest Dave Hodgen defeated Betsy Brown. After finally choosing nJune Madn as our class play, the following cast was chosen: Penny wood ------- Chuck Harris ----- Mrs. Wood -------- Elmer Tuttle ----- Dre w0Od. Effie ------------ Milly Lou -------- G. Cn the morning lof April 2h we left on our long awaited class trip during which we visited ysuch famous places as: Empire State Building, washington Monument, Radio City Music Hall, United Nations Building, and F.B.I. Building. we arrived home tired but eager to start preparations for graduation. K

Cliff McGinnis of our class 0r Red as he is lmown Is going to get married And a Texas ranch he'll own. Shirley is going to be a model And show off brand new cars Or else be wrapped in cellophane Advertising cigars. Lee is going E2 invent a new type of grass Zlhat you won't have to mow You just bury the seed down five feet So it will not be able to grow. Her first chance to go to Boston Esther is going to grab She wants to work for Checker Driving taxi cabs. Lois is going to be an auctioneer Where she will really And she'll also have a three piece band And be a square dance caller. Madeline will have her own business In every state she'll have a branch Yes she'll make a lot of money Owning the world's largest mink ranch. 20
