- eCcfoi ‘rtycyd, ScAooC FACULTY SENIORS JUNIORS SOPHOMORES FRESHMEN JUNIOR HIGH ELEMENTARY FAVORITES ATHLETICS ORGANIZATIONS ACTIVITIES ADVERTISERS As you turn the pages of this, the 1954 EAGLE, you will recall the memories of your days at Belcher School. This book illustrates for you, the studies, athletics, and social activities in which you have had an active part. We hope that you--the student boay ana faculty--will treasure this book as the record of your 1953- 54 school days at Belcher. THE STAFF 'DecUcatioti We dedicate this book to the people of our communities, Belcher, Dixie, and Gilliam. This is a tribute we pay to you for your support in ail the ac- tivities which we sponsor. Only with your help have we been able to make our projects and yearbook a success. THE ANNUAL STAFF Dear Students: It is always a pleasure to have a small part in the yearbook, especially since it is the work of the boys and girls of our school. Yearbooks have become a permanent part of most schools. They are good examples of people working cooperatively together and sharing each other's problems. It is this type of unity and companionship that must exist in order for us to live more happily and completely. May this year be remembered for all of the good things that have come into your life, so that next year will be a challenge for even greater heights along life's pathway. Share your joy and happiness with everyone, be an example to your fellowman, and win a new friend each day. p zcult t POWELL A. As far as I can see Bobby is not lazy so he will be a girls' dancing teacher. Roger Walters - Since Roger never will make a star basketball player, he is to be a cigarette salesman. At night he will demonstrate how to chew Bull of the Woods chewing tobacco on television. Barbara Wilkinson - This girl is dangerous, and she will be one of the best F.B.I. agents the city of Belcher has ever had. She is likely to live wierd and dangerous and will escape death several times. Jimmy A. - Jimmy is an excellent student and likes to teach, he is going to be a teacher who will teach facts on family life in a girls' college. Eamestine Parker - Eamestine is going to start off by being an entertainer at a dude ranch in Arizona. But after she was there for several years, she finally saved enough money to buy it. Now she owns a very swanky dude ranch. Shirley Brackman - Shirley is going to own her own Slim Whim reducing club, and since Shirley will be the worlds feather weight woman wrestling champion, she will teach other slim girls how to wrestle. Rosemary Herring - Rosemary is going to become the most beautiful model Neiman Marcus has ever had and she will write an anonymous love column for the United Press. J. C. Harkness - J. C. is one of the nation's most popular singing stars. When he is not singing he goes to college and takes math. His reason for taking math is quite simple, he is looking for the perfect math teacher. One day he finds the perfect professor, but the professor is not a man. • WATCH OUT MRS. DIXON! !!
