You are going to laugh and dream, is what the ice cream man sings as he goes through the park attempting to persuade everyone to buy his ice cream. Finally, he finds a young boy to be the first to hear his song and laugh. Can you dig it? Then comes a man playing a guitar singing his cares away. People listen, and they smile as he shows them his music calls for a celebration which is long overdue. He can only change an attitude for a short while, but with our help he can change the world. Can you dig it? Being funny and joking around also is pastime when you are spending Saturday in the park. Being able to take that practical joke is what allows one to be accepted. Doing what one does best shows what a person consists of, even if one eats too much! Can you dig it? l.lH1U 't up ' rw--I nuun--1--f--We

EMUTIUNS PLAGUE PEGPLE Each school year is usually filled with the almost limitless spectrum of human emotions and feelings. Happiness often tends to be the most sought after emotion, espcially for seniors, because this is their last year, and they want to make it a very memorable one filled with many pleasant experiences. Oh, to be a senior can also become quite sad for almost too soon it will end, and we will be out on our own or away at college. Hate or just plain disgust at others' faults or usually at our own faults seems to be quite common because seniors are striv- ing to make this last year their very best year. But, with all these obstacles in our way, who can stay cheerful all the time. Painful events such as mental and physical hurts may never be forgotten because when a football game is lost, it can hurt through mental anguish or a hard punch by your best friend who just happens to attend the rival school. Finally, whose school year would be com- plete without the almost comical su- periority of those smug sophomores and those bewildered looks of all those freshmen on their first day of school. Iuniors being defeated by sophomores who have the most spirit does nothing for their egos. 10 if y VX 'lm ' 1 .-xi :we
