Excite- ment mounts and tension fills the air as everyone anticipates the annual occasion that ends each football season. The night before the big game 'the annual homecoming parade and bonfire are held. At the peak of fire, the football players toss an effigy of a player of the opposing team into the fire as cheerleaders lead the participants in cheers. I63 a x
