Literary and Fine Arts Stresses Art and Music Q 3 V' 1'-B-'A 'x t sf A65 1 .X pf A P- MRL WILLIAM WILT EN MUTH The purpose of the Literary and Fine Arts is two-fold: first, to instill in students an understand- ing and appreciation of important literary worksg secondly, to promote in students a comprehension of an aesthetic awareness of the fine arts. MILTON ROOS The Chess Club is a relatively new organization at Behrman. The members attend meetings every Thursday. They also attend the City-Wide Tournament every other Saturday. The president of the Chess Club is Walton Fort. Helping him with his official duties are James Gordon, Coerte Voorhies, and Garynlenkins.
