Commerce - The spirit of cooperating in the business world is given in the Commerce Department. There' are a variety of skills which may be obtained through the study of various phases of'commerce. Among them are the follow- ing: typing, shorthand, bookkeeping, busi- ness arithmetic, and business law. The C. O. E. students go to school half a day and work in downtown offices as clerical workers in the afternoon. D. E. students profit from the business world through experience in various retail jobs with the help and guid- ance of their employers and teachers.
