BEGGS PUBLIL SCHOOLS Beggs Clkh TO THF PATRONS AND PUPILS OF THF BEGGS PUBLI' SCHOOLS: GRFFTIUGS We are happy indeed that we can approach the end of this school year in a different manner and attitude than we have been able to approach the close ofschool in the last .--' again We approach the era of peace wlth a lot of hope and desire in our hearts and minds The whole World is looking forward to a successful reconversion period The prob lens of this period are filling the minds of all great leaders, and plans are being made everyday for this great period We as the Beggs Public Schools feel that we are to have a de inite part in this reconvers on, even though it be a very minor part We want to plan our curriculum in such a manner that it will meet the needs of this rapidly changing World We want taserve the returning Service Hen and Women in every way possible so that they may rehabilitate from military to civilian life as rapidly and smoothly as possible We have pledged our efforts along this line I personally want to congratulate the Senior Class for the preparation and presentation of this very fine Annual They are to be especially commended since this activity of the school has been abandoned for several years and they lack any previous experience in this type of work The sponsor, Miss Emma Jane Porter, is to be commended for her very fine leadership S cerely G A Howerton Superintendent of Schools W - . , P INTENDENT , .
