REFLECTIONS School and sc hool activities take up a large portion of our time. We have grown up with the members of our classes, and we have become close to our classmates. Through the years, we have shared so much. We've been through good times and bad. Together, we have experienced moments which passed all too quickly. As high school students, we have all begun to realize that the carefree tunes we have together are limited. Eventually, our days at B.H.S. will end with our last proud moment as a group graduation 1 hen, our special times together will live Only in our memories. The mirror will no longer show us the picture of ourselves When those davs . during our high school days. come, may the pictures in this book be like a magic mirror. bringing back the images of us which we so much love to remembe I reflections from the 19H4-H5 school year. i MEET OUR FACULTY 198-4 School Board — Eugene Mestl. Cartoon Movie Star Day Aimee leaves her mark on Steph for Slop Day. Inside out day — understood. Well one out of three Time is a wall between us and the past, but memory is its window. This was the theme for Homecoming 1984. In many ways it was a traditional BUS homecoming. The student council determined the dress styles for the week, while the pep club and B-Club drew names for secret admirers. The halls were decorated, and windows were painted. By Thurs- day. enthusiasm was running high, and the girls added to the excitement with a win over Ponca in volleyball. Friday was the customary bonfire and pep rally downtown. Mr. Rockenbach prepared the script for the teachers’ yearly dramatic endeavor, the homecoming skit. The weather was damp Friday night, but it had no effect on school spirit. The band marched at halftime, and the royalty was announced. The football team ended the evening on a positive note with a victory over Wakefield. The homecoming dance was held on Saturday evening instead of following the game. Front Row: Coach Legband. Danette Hasenkamp. Denise Dinslage, Stephanie English. Though a monument has never been erected to recognize this fact, the American Farmer exhibits the ingenuity of a military genius, the heroism of a NASA astronaut, and the dedication of the cancer research scientist. For it is this individual who, through the years, has stabilized our economy by creating millions of jobs, offsetting trade deficits, and above all has placed food on the plates of millions.
