During the past four years the seniors have had many enjoyable parties and picnics. The class presented two plays, Man Overboard, and Desperate Ambrose.” As juniors it gave a beautiful banquet and prom. The theme was Under the Magnolias. A graduating class of twenty-one proudly received their diplomas. The class of 1962 are now alumni. IO GENE OTT Don't tell me, I have my own ideas. SHARON KOHL Mischievous, not Sharon. Fr eshman Initiation The Freshman initiation was held Monday September 18. During the day the freshmen had to wear anything the seniors told them to. In the evening the freshmen pulled the seniors downtown in coaster wagons. Then there was a program at the school- house where the freshmen showed their talents. There was a dance held afterwards. The Bobcats played a good game against Dakota City and won by a score of 13 to 34. Halftime activities included a perform- ance by the Beemer band, the announcing of the attendants, and the crowning of the king and queen of sports. Following the game, there was a dance and lunch sponsored by the pep club. It was an evening enjoyed by all. An afternoon matinee was held on the 29th at 1:00 p.m. We all enjoyed doing the play very much. An afternoon matinee was held on Wed- nesday, April 25th, at 1:30 p.m. for the town and surrounding country grade schools. The play was a big success. The cast had a lot of fun doing the production. A bus full of Seniors can be a lot of fun. Relaxing after a busy day. SENIOR SNEAK DAY After meeting at the bus at 5:00 A.M. on May 4th, the Seniors of Beemer left for Minden. We went through Pioneer Village” at Minden which was found very interesting by all. In the afternoon, we went to Hastings. There we went through the House of Yes- terday. Everyone seemed to enjoy it also. Then on to Grand Island where we shopped, ate at a steak house, and later went to a show.
