CROSS COUNTRY RUNNERS ARE SECTION CHAMP This year, Beekmantown added to its athletic titles with championships in both boys' and girls' cross country. The top ten runners who led the team to Section Seven championships and state competi- tions were: Jim Varin, Gordy Devins, Mark Gagnier, Alan Aguglia, Lance Gagnier, Sandi Leege, Barb Cul- ley, Lisa Brown, Wendy Everleth and Marcie Castine. Though the loss of top runners Jim Varin and Gordy Devins at graduation will be felt next year, the re- maining runners, helped by up and coming runners Jim Armstrong and Tim Gerd, should be real con- tenders for the 1977 title.
