The Beekmantown English teachers make the complicated task of learn- ing language an exciting challenge. Students may grudgingly admit that they find their own language enjoy- able to learn and research. ln addition to the regular courses in language instruction, the English department offers seniors courses in joking mat- ter, short story, tragic image, media, film and literature, and supernatural literature.
