Their record of three wins and eleven losses did not reflect their season. Many of the team's losses were only by a few points. The team had a new look in 1980, new uniforms and a new coach, Mr. Pelkey. Junior Andy Light was the Eagle 's num- ber one seed and won eight of his nine matches. Number two seed lfevin McGraw was undefeated in regular match play, but lost to teammate Light in the Sectionals. Andy and Kevin return as number one and two seeds this year. The 1981 Tennis Team was comprised of two seniors, eight juniors, and two soph- omores. Almost the entire team I ten out of twelvej, returns this spring. Andy Light receives some advice from Coach Pelkey during a match against Northeast Clinton.
