The boys' team flnlshed with a 8-5 record and took thlrd place in both the CVAC race and the sectlonals. The glrls team, with a record of 9-4, also had an excellent season, finlshlng thlrd in the CVAC championship race and second at the sectional meet. Thls strong glrl's team upset PHS and St. John's, who were pre-season favorites. The glrl's and boy's teams each had three members flnlsh In the top ten runners at the CVAC championship race. Seven members of this strong Cross Country team qualified for the state meet ln Syracuse. Top runners for the boys included Steve Sherman, Craig Daniels, and Mark Peck. Hardworklng seventh graders Tony Garrant and Ron Garrow offer great promise for future seasons. The girls team also promises to be strong in future seasons wlth returnlng top runners Terrl Nelson, Klm Norrls, and Llnda Wild.
