v The 1977-1978 Varsity Basketball team finished the season with a 6-8 record. The team was young, with ten juniors and only four seniors. Only Tom Renadette, Jon Denny, Dan Bijeau, Mark Dupell and Tim Rock had previous Varsity experience. The team had very close games with both St. John's and Plattsburgh High School. The Eagles revenged a three point loss to the Irish with a late season 'six'point win on the home court. SKATERS HAVE ROUGH SEASON IN 1978 PLAY The Hockey team had a rough season this year. Despite the efforts of defenseman Charles Hagar and goalies Mike Higgins and Mark Turner, the team finished the season with a disappointing 5-1-12 record. The Eagles' Mike Crimi, Dale Rahn and Jerry Coupal were among the Ieague's top ten scorer's. In their only game of the sectionals, against Northeast Clinton, the Eagles found themselves in perhaps the hardest fought game of the season, but lost 3-1. .... f- f Mike crimi i Jim Hager Ron Rockwall scores
