03' 3 Through the years, the seventh and eighth grades have been associated with neither the elementary nor the high school. Classified as the middle school they have remained in the background. This year, with their determination, and the help of Miss Boswell, these students have gained a more sig- nificant role as students in Beekmantown. Activity periods were set up so that the students could organize clubs, and produce their own newspaper. They have become active participants in the Student Council and are gaining a greater understanding of high school and making their presence felt in a more meaningful way.
