FUTURE HOMEMAKERS The Future Homemakers of America is a club made up of students who have taken home economics and who are inter- ested in the life they will even- tually lead as homemakers. This year, the president of the FHA was Tammy Bousquet and their advisor was Mrs. Dominy. F.H.A.: Betty Clinebell, Tammy Bous- quet, Cheryl Snide, Helen Trudeau, Gert Covel, Vicki Burkett, Wanda Carter, Tammy Carter, Nancy Rous- Sell. 50551 The members of BOSC, the Beekmantown Outing and Ski Club, thoroughly enjoy hiking and alpine skiing. They have skied at Whiteface Mountain and Mount Van Hoevenberg. Mount Marcy, the highest peak in the state was the goal of the hiking club. This year, the cIub's future was threatened when the Board of Education cut the program from the 1977-78 budget. But thanks to the perseverance of Mr. Davies, a modified program was carried out. The Booster Club sponsored fund raising ac- tivities for BOSC and the outing club also received support from the Student Council and parents. The possibility of add- ing c ross-country A skiing to BOSC is something to look for- ward to in the future. Beekmantown's Senior Rock Chorus presently has twenty-five members and is still expanding. The talent and enthusiasm of these boys and girls is clearly dis- played in their perfor- mances, which include both vocal music and rock in- strumental background.
