Band Music is a world within itself, it's a language we all understand. -Stevie Wonder lt's true that music is very much a part of our lives. In band, students learn not only how to play music, but to appreciate all the hard work and determination it takes to become a musician. Under the direction of Mr. Benjamin Davies, this year's band worked as hard as ever promoting school spirit at football games, adding to the Christmas spirit with traditional and new Yuletide sounds, and acknowledging the arrival of spring with the annual spring concert. i- A.. 3 T 1' fxg pf The yearbook staff began planning the 1978 CREST a year ago before last year's book arrived from the publisher. An effort was made to give the book a fresh face with different organiza- tion, layout, and some special printing effects. This year's editor was Bruce Carlin. Carolyn Golden and Andrea Gluck were the copy editors. Cheryl Seabron and Patty Reyell were in charge of the sales and advertising staffs responsible for selling almost seven hundred book orders and four hundred dollars worth of advertising. -9- Layout Group Two I, P' ll uf-. i . 41
