The class of 1978 will long be remembered for their energy and undying will to keep on going when the going got tough. Through the football season and the basketball season, Beekmantown's senior class was always there to cheer the eagles on. Beekmantown's senior class is graduating with a North Country Scholar, Carolyn Golden. This award hasn't been presented to Beekmantown in years. The senior class is also the lst class to graduate that went through 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grade entirely on split session.

Q. R JQDI. There never seems to be enough time to do the things you want to do once you find them . . The combination of tedious work and cooperation that went into the preparation of last year's Junior Prom was certainly well worth the effort. Decorated to the theme, Time in a Bottle, the Elk's Club provided a romantic atmosphere, where everyone danced to the music provided by Solar Energy. Held on May 21, the unusually warm and summery May night added to everyone's enthusiasm, and en- abled the fun to extend far beyond the twilight hours. Rodney Gregoire and Sandi Leege were paid their proper royal respects as they were crowned King and Queen, while Bill Maxwell and Wendy Nichols humbly accepted the honor of being chosen prince and princess. The Class of 1978 is unique in that it has the first court boasting of 26 members, which is unquestionably a reflection on the class itself. Con- gratulations to everyone for a very successful and memorable event.
