?rc'm'h 611111 Members of the French Club, organized in the fall of 1959, devote themselves to learning about the rich culture of France. Through films, games, songs and newspapers, they have not only become more proficient in the language, but become acquainted with French geography, history and customs. Dramatic gfllb Dramatic Club's presentation of Steps From Beyond, a one-act play by Ioy Reid Gould, was enthusiastically received by the student body during the first semester of the school year. During the second semester, Dramatic Club members successfully staged Itchin' to Get Hitched, a clever farce by Richard Henry. 1' ,fx I FIRST ROW: Barbara Wattie, Pat Ducatte, Mrs. Wie ner, Alyce Belknap. The purpose of this club is to enlarge on the study of the Latin language, Roman history, mythology, and culture. Club members fulfill these aims by publishing library news and assisting the librarian to keep the library in good order. Store Our School Store is organized as one of the acti vities under the sponsorship of the Student Council. The store has two primary functions: Q15 regular school supplies are sold to students at regular retail prices: profits were used last year to provide scholarship awards in the grades and high school, and Q21 the school store sells at cost some items that are specified for use in different classes.
