M 'L X SENIOR CLASS HISTORY We started out a very eventful freshman year w1th one hundred th1rty members 1n our class Ne defeated the Sophomores 1n the annual Freshman Sophomores 1n1t1at1on Our class offlcers were pres1dent Gene Dunnlng v1ce pres1dent June Jenk1ns secretary Earl P1geon treasurers Joyce W1se and Sam Hall repre entatwes Betty oanders and Bryan Taylor student councll Jan1ce Prlnclng and Alv1n Ham1lton class reporter Roberta Fader po1nt secretary Frankhn Hester The Freshman play 'The Atom1c Blonde was complete success 1D every way Our Sophomore class off1cers were pres1dent Gene Dunn1ng v1ce pres1dent Earl Plgeon secretary Bruce Popovltz treasurers Joyce W1se and Sam Hall student councll Jan1ce Prlnclng and Alvln Hamllton class reporter Roberta Fader pomt secretary June Jenk1ns The Sophomore play Act your Age, was one of the best plays of the year The Junlor class offlcers were pres1dent Gene Dunnlng v1ce pres1dent Alv1n Ham1lton secretary Bruce Popovmtz treasurers Joyce W1se and Bob McMullen repre entat1ves Betty Janos and R G Carlson student counc1l, Jan1ce Pr1nc1ng and Earl P1geon class reporter Roberta Fader po1nt secretary John Dunn1ng The Jun1or play Ivhstakes at the Blakes, ' was a great h1t We sold magazxne and reached the goal we set Our b1ggest event was the Junlor Sen1or Prom We had a very good orchestra We decorated the gym 1n a Hawauan scene w1th a large palm tree 1n the center of the gym Now we have reached the most eventful and unforgettable year of all our Sen1or year The Sen1or class off1cers are pres1dent Gene Dunn1ng v1ce pres1dent June Jenk1ns secretary Bruce Popov1tz treasurers Martha Gunther and Bob McMullen representatlves Irene Layton and Harold Kerbyson student count1l Roberta Fader and Earl Plgeon cla s reporter Aura Jean Pease and po1nt secretary John Dunn1ng We sold magamnes but d1dn't qu1te reach our goal We also sold Chr1stmas cards and stat1onary We had our p1ctures taken 1n October and rece1ved them 1n November Our Sen1or play Best Foot Forward ' a broadway show was also a great h1t We enjoyed very much the work we put 1n the annual. The Jumors d1d a very good Job of decoratmg the gym and selectmng an orchestra for our Jumor Sen1or Prom. We certa1nly enjoyed 1t,, For our Sen1or tr1p we went to the Soo and MaCk1HaW Island by boat. Everyone had a Marvelous t1me For our class motto we chose, We have crossed the bay, the ocean hes before us, For our class colors we chose blue and gray and our flower 15 the wh1te carnat1on. We w1sh to thank Mr, Voller and M1ss Harvath who have helped gu1de us through our h1gh school years. Our deepest grat1tude and slncere w1shes for everyth1ng you have done.
