HBTORY beat a tough Fenton High team. Paced by Accurate Arrn Earl Pigeon, Beecher romped over highly favored Fenton Z0-0. It was Fenton's first loss of the year and it dropped them out of the championship running. Beecher started off right with Pigeon passing eo yards to Crang for the first T.D. ln the second period Pigeon plunged over from the Zyard line and kicked the extra point, putting us out front 14-0. After half time ceremonies, Beecher's line again swamped and out charged Fenton's Highly publicized team. In the fourth period Alger Palmer caught a Pigeon pass covering 60 yards for a T. D. Fenton never threatened once which is due to the hard charging of the Beecher line. We give Dickerson, Friz, Hamilton, McMullen, and Sweezie well deserved credit for the victory with their brilliant playing. Beecher next went on to win a very easily played game from Bendle, Jim Crang and Earl Pigeon scored 3 T D 's a piece to lead Beecher to its sixth win of the season Crang ripped off 61 33 and 31 yards for T D 's while Pigeon made runs of 12 Z and 30 yards for T D s Dave Cutcher scored Beecher's other T D He intercepted a Bendle pass and ran ll yards for the final T D Beecher suffered its second set back of the season by losing Z7 13 to Kearsley Beecher scored from the first play of the gam on a 60 pass from Pigeon to Cutcher Kearsley then caught Beecher napping and got a safety col lecting Z points They then came back for more and came charging throughfor another T D They scored twice more Beecher scored its last T D withapass from Pigeon to Crang covering 20 yards RESERVE BASKETBALL I Langley L France P Lowley 2ND ROW Coach Dawson D Websrer K Volltr D Tlgner I Lewis D Stratton D Deleckr R Cole L Thayer B Dubais C Brandt 51 . . , , . . , . .
