followed in h1S father s footsteps and has set upa very flne darry bar As we were eaung there, who should come ln but BettyCrawford She was as usual bursting wrth news She told us that Don Rhoades Ted Edtck and Bob Roberts have set up a tralmng school lnstrucung boys how to turn their cars into a hot rod ln three easy lessons Betty also told us that Jerry Kettle was becomlng well known for h1s fxrst PIIZC dogs After staylng here for a short ume we left for Seattle Washtngton There we saw Georgena Baxler who 15 happtly marrred to Ed Barnes They are l1v1ng near the polrce statton where Ed has a permanent positron as chxef of the htghway patrol Ed told us that he stopped B111 Damels for speedmg that mornlng As he was frllmg out B111 s ttcket Bxll told htm that Roy Pearce had taken up pro football and N1ck Manych was dorng well at basketball He also sa1d that M1ll1e Guest 1S Fl1nt s best basketball and fxeld hockey referee From Seattle we went to Hollywood There we saw Mary Lou Howard and Ruth R1tch1e as well known stars They told us about Barbara Sampson who IS now playtng the plano for Walt Jones who were junlor producers On the way to the east coast we stopped ln Arlzona There we saw Donna Boulton who IS now married to Pete Prtnctng They are raxstng star athletes Donna told us about Glenda Clary who now has a charm school of her own and bustness ts ftne Janet Ockerman, one of her former students IS dolng well as a model in New York She also sa1d that Kathleen Stadler ts now the prtvate secretary of the Secretary of State Ruth Thompson IS still her loyal frtend We left Artzona for Texas There we saw Leona Blake Vlrgrma Marme Betty Earns Nan Edmonds Donna Gtbson and Ellen Love They told us they had gone mto a store bust ness together and were very successful From Artzona we traveled to MJSSJSSIPPI There we met Pat Bennett She said that Joyce Ruhstorfer was adverusxng How To Keep That School Glrl Complexion We also heard that Bertha Dreuth 1SSS11ll'lg the up to date styles tn clothtng Luayne Nelson is happtly marrted After leaving Pat, we met Doug Franklin He told us that Bob Flanagm and Sterltng Osmun are commercial arusts He also reported that Duane Robxnson ls selling FORDS He told us that Howard Pray ts a p1lot and Lester March and Maurxce Crane own a recreauon center Leavlng Doug we saw Bonme Moore who told us that Donna McMurtry was poslng for btll board artrsts She also toldus Phyllts Jersey 1smarr1ed and hasa small famtly Phylhs Mayfteld is a teacher Her chlldren have quxet ways From here we went to Flortda We met Paul Labtan who Z3 was on hrs campa1gn1ng tour As you all know he s runnlng for President He told us that Genevteve Smtth IS st1ll strug gllng at Mxchlgan Normal Her motto IS I Won t G1ve Up He also told us that Barbara Lannrng Gall Bell LaDonna Maynard Norma Lewls and Elame Turfus are the ftve htghest ln the1r graduating class at M1Ch1g3H State We left for North Carollna and whom should we meet but Ralph Cross He s st1l1 betng looked up to by all He told us that Clark Perk1ns 15 the star of the Hot Rod races He also told us Jlm Trovtllxon has a gas stauon of h1s own and that Don Hoover IS st1ll patrolmg traffxc for Beecher students Last but not least he told us about Janet Underwood who has an art studio of her own A few days later we left for Rhode Island where we met Chester Hopklns He told us Hugh Isbell and Bob Flanagxn own a swanky nlght club He satd that Homer McMurtry IS a very much admtred l1fe guard From Rhode Island we traveled to Pennsylvania where we ran 1nto John Meyka and Don Molxterno who are ratsmg the1r derby wtnners Beatr1ce Dupxus has her own curb service there Our next stop was New York Whrle we were there whom should we meet but Jerry Watson Don Whrte Sonny Wlley and Darw1n Grainger They were vacauonlng there from the1r chain store busxness They told us that Dale Bozung was a professxonal golfer and that Ivan Carpenter and Dale Collins. are salesmen for Smlth Budgman They also satd they had seen Evelyn Wlute who 15 tn the fortune telltng business and she told them Margaret Tlgner has started a peroxrde factory of her own They told us that Marlon DeCourval and Dorothy D1ce are students atJ C They were loaded w1th news so told us about Dtck Dusseau and h1s brother Bob who have the1r own art studxo No other than Bob Barr rs the1r top Instructor After leavxng New York we went to Ohto There we met Clatr Ward who IS a football star of Ohto State He told us that Truman Munsell George Parker and Gerald Stadler were also attending the college From there we came home to Mtchxgan and the first place we stopped was Gracelawn Apphance store to talk w1th Bob and Pat Habermehl who own tt Erla Gaut IS thetr chtef clerk While there who should come tn but Amelxa Janos Juaruta Wyles Pat Nxchols and Dorothy Grant They told us that Patsy O Brien had gone to Scotland for a VISII They said that Patsy Mtddledltch and Patty Stafford were drtver s tratnlng instructors They also saxd that Dorothy Suchy had taken Mr Tisdale s posttxon at teachmg shorthand The last place we visited was the Uruversity of M1ch1gan and naturally had to stop ln and see Buford Mundale who IS a professor tn math He told us that he had been wrmng to many of the classmates whom we had recently visited and thought ll would be a greatldea If we could all get together next year
