Third Row: Nancy Toney, Carole Maloy, Linda Taylor, Emily Hall, Judy Chestnut, Shirley Hunter, Mary Galloway, Gordon Hamilton, and Judy Lyzott. Interested in both historical and current governmental affairs, the History Club annually visits some place of historical interest. The History Club also raises funds by selling pecans. Sketch Club The Sketch Club made great improvement in membership this year. Members are: Mrs. Brown, sponsor; Shirley Wilson, Sue Jaynes, Sherry Wright, Nancy Sedinger, Diane Troutt, vice-president; Judy Long, Kathy Thompson. Row Two: Jon Willenberg, president; Jimmy Good- man, Jennifer DeBurger, treasurer; Lorry Mann, Gory Bishop, LaVessa Kania, Mary Wilson, Linda Moore, secretary; Peggy Whitaker. The Sketch Club did much to beautify our school. They par- ticipated in the annual room decorating contest for the last four years, winning first place twice. They decorated windows on holidays, and posted pictures and paintings for open house. This year they also held a dance, called the Joker ' s Ball. They used the profits to buy a motor for their potter ' s wheel. Elected king and queen of the dance were Jim Terhune and Karia Faulconer. Larry Mann and Diane Troutt are shown crowning the couple.

Second Row: Sandra Young, Kay Little, Emily Hall, Karen Amos, Nancy Clark, Joe Youmons, Nancy Toney. The Future Teachers of America group attended many interesting meetings this year. They attended one at Indiana Central College, the Regional Conference at Manual High School, and the State Conference at AAun- cie. Their annual trip took them to the Indiana State Third Row: Donna Patrick, Peggy Zavodny, Steve Jones, Gordon Fields, Jim Johnson, Sandra Maddox, president; Harry McNeely, Jeff Lowson, treasurer; Kathy Foley. School for the Deaf and the new Purdue Extension build- ing. Those seniors doing cadet teaching this year were Jim Johnson, Linda Jetmore, Terri Bauer, Linda Moore, Kay Little, Nancy Clark, Nancy Toney, Steve Jones, Gor- don Fields, and Sandra Maddox. The F.T.A. played a major role in the observance of American Edu- cation Week, November 5-12. Sev- eral members participated in a discussion panel for the P.T.O. San- dra Maddox and Nancy Clark ore shown here putting final touches on a window case display.
