Hi-Y The Hi-Y engages in many school and social functions. They operate the hat check at Basketball games and participate in the Model U. N. Second Row: Ronnie Jaynes, Jim Hensley, sergeant-at-arms; Don Brown, Bob West, Bob Messer, Harry McNeely, chaplain; Steve Agal, Tony Burton, Steve Jones. Third Row; Cloyton Collins, treasurer; Roland Scott, Gordon Fields, secretary; Lee Marsh, Jim Smith, Ron Riley, John Brewer, vice- president; Ron Baker, John Bailey, president; and Bill Greenwood. Radio Club Members are, first row: Tim Woolsey, Larry Wise, John Burk, David Deckwa, vice-president; and Mr. Fred Rankin, sponsor. Second Row: Don Brown, Bob West, Mike Hunter, and John Sharp, president. The newly-formed Radio Club consists of students interested in amateur radio. Many members have their own radio ' t ransmitting and receiving sets. Presi- dent John Sharp and Tim Woolsey of the Radio Club are busy watching pat- terns on the oscilloscope.

Tri-Hi-Y Junior and senior members of the Tri-Hi-Y ore, first row: Mary Blozek, Karia Faulconer, president; Kay little, vice-president; Beverly Totty, Rita Wilkins, Korel VanHorn, Kathy Dale, and Kathy Goss. Second Row: Mrs. Harris, sponsor; Janet Jackson, Bette Shaffer, Linda Pflonzer, Emily Hall, Mary Kay Galloway, Marleah lawson, Kathleen Ross, and Sue Hahnert. Third Row: Connie Mitchell, secretary; Donna Wright, Peggy Zovodney, Sue Helmer, treasurer; Kathy Foley, Donna Patrick, Karen Daily, Sue Lockord, and Judy Chestnut. Girls of the Tri-Hi-Y sponsored the annual Thanksgiving dinner this year, and collected canned goods for the needy. They also served refreshments in the teacher ' s lounges at Christmas. One of their important activities is the Model United Nations program. The Club is so popular, it has a waiting list for membership. Freshman and sophomore members are, first row: Cathie Collins, Verna Knoy, Diane Lovelace, Ruth Schoo, Kay Carter, Gloria Faulconer, Teresa Highland, and Koy Hunt. Beech Leaf Staff The Beech Leaf staff published six issues of the paper this year and copies were sold for 1 Oc each. The lost edition, the Senior Edition, contained such features as the Senior ' s plans for the future, wills, secret ambitions, prophecies. Senior Superlatives and Do You Remem- ber When? Pictured are, first row: Terri Bauer, Connie Acton, Barbara Frisbie, Kay Little, Mary Jo Keatley, Bonnie Acton, and Miss Ragsdale, sponsor.
